Counselling takes place in a first floor room in my house. It is comfortable and private. During counselling sessions we will not be overheard or interrupted.
Counselling takes place in my house, which can be accessed without needing to use steps. My counselling room is located upstairs; however counselling can take place downstairs if necessary. You can be certain of not being overheard or interrupted, no matter which room is being used for counselling.
Someone is usually around to open the door to people who arrive early.
My fees are £55 per session for individuals and £65 per session for couples.
Most clients pay monthly or weekly as they wish by cash or cheque.
It is very important that you are counselled by someone who you have made a connection with and feel you can talk to. After our first session I will ask you whether you would like to go away and think whether I am the right counsellor for you, or whether you would like to make another appointment and start having regular sessions with me.
All of my counselling sessions last 1 hour.
I see all my clients once a week for as long as it takes, we will know when the counselling has worked and that we can start reducing the frequency of our sessions if this feels appropriate
After the first session, if you decide that I am the right counsellor for you, we will both commit to weekly sessions. Cancellations are charged at the full rate. However, if for reasons out of your control you need to cancel a session, you will not be charged if you rebook within the same calendar week.
